Stage 6 will take begin at the sleepy town of Karak and will take the road less travelled with plenty of greenery along the way. The rolling hills of Pahang and Negeri Sembilan will give the climbers some advantage over the sprinters, but there is no real danger of a major split in the peloton for the stage. There will also be plenty of winding areas for breakaway attempts to get out of sight of the peloton, although the long stage distance would give equally ample time for the sprinter trains to catch up. The last 10 kilometres will take riders through the tourist districts of Malacca, and a fairly technical entry into the finish, with concrete pavers, makes it an interesting end to a long day.
