Traversing the flat to gently rolling terrain of Kedah and Perak, the route favours the sprinters but offers opportunities for breakaway specialists on its undulating sections. With fatigue from the opening stages beginning to set in, riders must carefully manage their energy while staying alert to crosswinds and late-race attacks before an anticipated high-speed sprint finish in Kuala Kangsar.
